ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrive in Siem Reap (Cambodia), welcome drinks, dinner (click to expand)

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, your private driver will transfer you to the hotel, were you will have time to relax and enjoy the pool until apéritif time!

Then head for a welcome drink to a lush and stylish rooftop cocktail bar with sweeping views of Siem Reap. Enjoy one of Cambodia’s iconic sunsets with a cool drink in hand while listening to smooth tunes before your first delicious 6 course khmer dinner at one of the top dining venues in town, where elegance and superb service complement authentic Cambodian dishes.

Day 2Cooking class, free time, dinner

Today after breakfast you will visit a local market to learn about khmer herbs and spices and buy ingredients for the cooking class. The colors, the smells, the lively atmosphere will propel you into one of the most authentic Cambodian scenes.
While your guide explains the variety of vegetables and fruits, some unknown to our palate, take this chance to buy some delicious mango to snack on later in the day.

Then proceed to the cooking class where you will learn how to cook some of the best khmer dishes in a lovely outdoor environment. Show off your cooking skills and once finished, enjoy your meal in the lovely grounds.
Upon returning to the hotel, the afternoon is free for you to relax or to have your soothing khmer massage.

Tonight you will experience one of the top restaurants in town for a 5 course gourmet meal that will delight your palate and your eyes.
Trained at Michelin-starred restaurants, the chef at this serene garden venue designs gourmet tasting menus (including a vegan discovery menu) that are always adapted according to what is in season. He personally forages for herbs, leaves, and edible flowers daily and most herbs come from his own organic garden.

Day 3Full day tour, monks blessing, gourmet dinner

After breakfast, your private guide will take you on a full day adventure exploring Angkor Wat and some of the most iconic khmer temples.

Before returning to the hotel you will experience one of the most spiritual khmer practices: a monks blessing.

In the evening a gourmet meal awaits in one of the trendiest venues in town. The 2 chefs will wow your senses with a 6 course gastronomic experience that showcases modern Khmer cuisine and its flavours in a refreshingly sophisticated approach. While designing each monthly menu, from amuse bouche to dessert, the restaurant follows the rhythm of nature, presenting the seasonality of khmer produce to guests, allowing them to taste a great variety of herbs, flowers, vegetables, and fruits.

Day 4Tonle Sap Tour, cocktail workshop, dinner

After breakfast depart to Tonle Sap Lake to explore the communities living on the lake. As you cruise among floating homes you will discover a simple way of living and appreciation for the little things in life.

Back to land, take a walk in a lakeside village with its many homes on stilts and marvel at the height of some homes, built 10 meters above the ground. You will have the opportunity to interact with locals and take a peek inside their homes to learn and understand more about their life.

After saying goodbye to the friendly locals, the last stop is the site of Bakong, to admire ancient temples without the crowds.

Once finished you will return to the hotel. Or for the daring ones, there is the option to have a bugs-tasting lunch in one of the few restaurants in the world that specializes in insect tapas. Whether you wanna try red ants, crickets, scorpions or spiders, this place will reveal all the insects’ gastronomical potential to you!

After a free afternoon to relax, it’s time to have some fun with a mixology workshop, making some unique khmer cocktails with local ingredients. Ginger Mojito anyone?
Before you get too tipsy, we’ll take you to dinner for another exploration of local flavors in the top restaurant in town.
With a waiting list of a few months and a spot among Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants , this charming restaurant, housed in a traditional Cambodian wooden house, blends authentic Cambodian flavors with creative French culinary techniques.

Day 5Farm visit, Rum making workshop, dinner

Today spend a free morning exploring Siem Reap on your own or work on your tan by the wonderful pool.

In the afternoon get creative with a rum making class! First you will visit to a local sugar farm to learn the process of how sugar cane grows and how it’s used. Then, at our rum workshop you will be able to craft your own customized rum to take home as souvenir. Get creative and mix your favorite ingredients to make a rum that will please your palate: lemongrass, mango, chilli and pepper are just some of the ingredients you can use to make a unique drink.

In the evening, we will indulge in another culinary feast to discover new khmer flavors.

Day 5Free time, village discovery, stargazing and dinner

Enjoy your last day doing what you love, whether it’s lazying by the pool or browsing the many boutique shops for last minute souvenirs.

Later in the afternoon, we will take you on a one–of–a– kind dining experience unknown to tourist crowds. You will travel by boat to a tranquil village outside of Siem Reap to take full advantage of the many activities provided by the villagers as they share ancient rural skills with you. Explore the village by ox cart, select ingredients from the herb garden for evening cocktails and enjoy a foot massage, your drink in hand as the sun sets over the rice paddies.
As local musicians set the tone for the evening with their elegant khmer music, your chef will present you with a 5 course Khmer celebratory dinner served under the stars and by candlelight for a truly memorable occasion.
Don’t forget to look up at the sky: have you ever seen so many stars?

Day 6Departure

Today your culinary adventure ends after breakfast, when your driver will take you to the airport.

If you can’t bear the thought of going home, how about extending the trip with our 3 nights beach add-on? White powdery sand and turquoise waters are waiting to spoil you the way you deserve.
